My IT career has involved development and maintenance of application systems that required compliance with strict Federal and State Insurance regulations, FDA, and HIPAA regulations. I have worked independently and as an integral member of small to large development teams in a variety of application environments on a wide variety of application systems. I have been involved in all phases of project life cycles from inception and feasibility (Cost Benefit Analysis) studies through implementation and post-implementation support. My functional roles have been Project Lead, Business Analyst, Technical Analyst, Sr. Programmer Analyst, Endevor Administrator, and Production Support Specialist with many functional overlaps.

Completed analysis, coding, testing, and implementation tasks for 3 major waves of de-conversion relating to the transfer of processing for private label credit card data from internal CITI Commerce Solutions systems to FDR. This involved identifying jobs, PROCs, DB2 SQL select statements, Quick Job, and control cards that required modification or decommissioning. Applying the appropriate changes to the JCL for the jobs, PROCs, and control cards, testing the jobs individually and in strings to assure that they still produced the required results after being modified to discontinue processing of data for specific private label credit card clients as specified for each wave, including SQL extracts of data and QA review of all results. I also completed several small COBOL programming requests to provide quick fixes to erroneous master file data and reformatting of Raw Data for specific clients. These requests involved VSAM file processing, reformatting of raw data, selection of specific client's data, setting specific flags to avoid or modify finance charges, late charges, insurance premiums, calculating and applying rebates for excessive finance charges. Project was completed on June 30, 2004.

This involved writing four new COBOL programs, copybook modifications, major modifications to a large SAS module for creation of comma delimited files for download to Paradox, modifications to two more COBOL programs, developing new JCL and PROCs, and modifying existing PROCs to execute the new programs for both test and production for each of eight sales forces.
