    September 2007 - December 2007
I performed long term subbing for the Barton Middle School choir director which also included teaching health classes. I also performed a long term sub job for the Tom Green Elementary music teacher (6 week positions each).

Duties included rapid assessment and assimilation into already established classrooms to provide a seamless educational experience with minimal disruption and maximum educational opportunities.

Middle School experience was a dramatic success- all students threw me a huge party when I left, and all students were testing 90+ in health at my departure. As part of my instructional techniques for health I had students dramatize psychological disorders while others guessed their disorder and prescribed rememdies. I applied Maslov's Heirarchy of Needs to basic health needs the kids were learning, utilized various photographs depicting social situations for them to apply their knowledge of basic levels of health care, etc.

In six weeks, the choir increased in enthusiasm and planned and held a small impromtu concert for the principal and other classrooms.
