    Active Duty assigned to the 99th Logistics Readiness Squadron, Nellis AFB Las Vegas Nevada. Received training in and on 10k, 10k AT, 13k AT and 20k forklift operations, 28, 44 passenger bus and intercity coach buses. Trained on 10 ton tractor operation and trailers up to 40 feet. Trained on and operated rollback wrecker.

    Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of 159 government owned vehicles valued at
    over $7 million dollars. I operated general purpose vehicles and heavy
    equipment including cargo trucks, 28 and 44 passenger buses, coach buses, forklifts,
    tractor/trailer combinations and wreckers. Upon this, I was also responsible for the
    safety and comfort of passengers and the proper security of cargo on assigned vehicles.

    I aided the Documented Cargo Control section in timely movement of mission
    capable aircraft parts and high priority issues, bench stock items, hazardous materials, routine
    cargo, supplies and equipment. Signed for, and ensured safe delivery of items classified as secret or top secret, with a value of up to 1 billion dollars.

    I provided passenger transportation and cargo support for RED FLAG, AIR WARRIOR
    exercises and Weapons School support. I serviced vehicle equipment daily and
    performed operator maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and serviceability. I helped determine
    malfunctions or discrepancies and processed vehicles into vehicle
    maintenance for repair, prepared, reviewed and maintained vehicle operator records and
    reports.

    Served as Workgroup Manager for Vehicle Operations fleet. Was the focal point for all computer issues and networking issues. Solved email problems, internet issues, and hardware/software compatibility and ensured all members complied with Department of Defense guidelines of official business only when accessing the internet and using other DOD computer applications. Also ensured compliance with upgrading to new software, and provided training on software when needed.

    Deployed to Iraq for operations Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. Responsible for the security of contractor convoys within Iraq, and all military supply convoys as well. Received the Purple Heart for actions performed during these tasks.
